BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 23. The value of Uzbekistan’s trade turnover with the CIS countries amounted to $12.2 billion from January through August 2022, which is an increase of 27 percent compared to the same period last year ($9.6 billion), Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
From January through August 2022, exports from Uzbekistan to the CIS countries amounted to $4.8 billion, while imports from these countries amounted to $7.4 billion.
During this period, trade turnover with other countries increased by 28.1 percent compared to the same period of 2021 ($15.6 billion), reaching $19.9 billion.
Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover from January through August 2022 amounted to $32.1 billion, which is an increase of 27.7 percent compared to the same period of 2021 ($25.1 billion).
