BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 12. Uzbekistan’s GDP is estimated to be 5 percent in 2022, Trend reports via S&P Global Ratings.
According to the ratings, in 2024 Uzbekistan’s GDP is forecast to grow at 5.5 percent, while for 2023 growth rate is expected at the level of 5 percent.
“The Russia-Ukraine conflict has significantly affected macroeconomic forecasts for the countries of Central Asia, including GDP growth, inflation, and budget balances, but the sovereign credit ratings of countries in these regions have so far remained stable. The most important financial ties between the Central Asian countries and Russia are concentrated in the area of remittance flows,” ratings said.
