A tremor measuring 3.5 on Richter scale jolted port city of Bandar Lengeh in southern province of Hormozgan on Wednesday evening, IRNA reported.
According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 22:55 hours local time ( 18:25 hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 26.64 degrees latitude and 54.67 degrees longitude and in depth of 27 kilometers underground.
There in no immediate report on possible damage.
