Presidential candidate Gholam Ali Haddad-Adel said that the Principlist Coalition of Three does not endorse the political views of rival Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the Tasnim News Agency reported.

Haddad-Adel went on to note that it's true that he and the other two members of the group have at times different views of the way Rafsanjani has been leading his political life, and in principle the Coalition was formed because of their fundamental objections to Rafsanjani's political vision.

Tehran Mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf and top advisor to Iran's leader, Ali Akbar Velayati are the other two members of Principlist Coalition of Three.

Refsanjani currently chairs the State Expediency Council.

Haddad-Adel, who is also a lawmaker, said that the Coalition of Three is planning to pick its front-runner for the election once the Guardian Council releases the final list of the approved candidates.

The Guardian Council, which is vetting its candidates, is set to submit the list of approved candidates to the Interior Ministry on Tuesday.

Iran will hold the 11th presidential election on June 14, 2013.

The voters will select the successor of the current President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is not able to participate in the elections for the third term according to the country's constitutional laws.

The president of Iran is elected for a four-year term in a national election and the Guardian Council vets the candidates for qualifications.
