Russia’s Servis Montazh Integratsiya Co. is eying cooperation with Iranian partners for joint production and export.

"We are looking for cooperation with Iranian companies, maybe for the purpose of exporting, or maybe for the purpose of exporting products and services to Iran," the company’s Deputy Director for Corporate Customers Aleksey Obolochkov told Trend on the sidelines of the Joint Iran-Russia Economic Cooperation Commission in Tehran.

Servis Montazh Integratsiya Co. is a manufacturer of low and mid-voltage switch gears. An official partner of Germany’s Siemens, the company is based in Kazan, southern Russia.

Commenting on the Iranian market, he said, "I think the Iranian market is already a quite competitive market."

In a relevant development on Monday, Iran-Russia Energy Committee convened for the first time ever in the present of Deputy Minister of Petroleum for International Affairs and Trading Amir-Hossein Zamaninia and Russian Deputy Energy Minister Kirill Molodtsov.

The Iran-Russia Energy Committee started within framework of the 13th Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission as a delegation consisting of more than 30 people from Russia were present to discuss mutual cooperation.
