The Phase 12 of the South Pars Gas Field has produced and exported over 14.4 million barrels of condensate over the current fiscal year (started March 20).
Seyyed Mohammad Mehdi Hashemi, the head of the ninth refinery at the South Pars gas complex, has said that the ninth refinery supplies 11 percent of the country’s required gas, Iran's rolling news channels IRINN reported on Monday.
He added that the refinery has refined 13,255 million cubic meters of gas over the current year.
The ninth refinery utilizes the Phase 12 of the South Pars and reportedly it is the largest refinery of the Middle East.
The Phase 12 enjoys 600 billion cubic meters of in place resources, accounting for 5 percent of the total reserves of the South Pars gas field.
