The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Sept. 10:
Export floor: offers 30,014 tons of bitumen and 400 tons of insulation.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 15,573 tons of various polymers, 1,000 tons of potash and 21,000 tons of vacuum bottom feedstock.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 100,000 tons of sponge iron, 25,000 tons of iron beam, 45,840 tons of rebar basket, 6,000 tons of rebar and 10,000 tons of bloom as well as 3,000 tons of cathode copper and 21 kilograms of gold bullion.
Agriculture floor: Offers 7,200 tons of wheat.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
