Iran was not discussed at the recent meeting between Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and U.S. President Barack Obama on Jan.30 in the White House, Georgian Presidential spokeswoman Manana Manjgaladze said at a traditional briefing on Tuesday.
Previously, former Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze said Saakashvili intends to let Washington use Georgia as a springboard for military actions against Iran.
Manjgaladze said the agenda did not include the Iranian issue and stressed that it was not discussed.
"The Iranian issue or any other new military operation was not discussed at all," she said.
