In Tbilisi at the presidential palacehas ended with the National Security Council, convened by the initiative of the President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, said the administration of President of Georgia.
Ministers of defense, foreign and internal affairs, the command of the Joint Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces attended the meeting.
Format of the NSC is very useful for collaboration of different political forces, stated chairman of the meeting President Mikhail Saakashvili,
"Behind closed doors, in this format, we can seriously discuss many issues, since this format allows us to rise above ourselves, and despite the likes and dislikes, and do one thing for our country. We all work for the security of our country," he said .
Saakashvili called on all parties to a serious dialogue and welcomed approaches.
"We once were about as part of the National Security Council, and all the participants of the meeting were convinced that we can work efficiently," he said.
It should be noted that after the meeting of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili called NSC "useless" body that "can not make decisions."
Meanwhile, he said that he respects the institutions, including the presidency, and therefore participates in the meeting of the National Security Council.
