The 19th meeting of the GUAM Trade and Transport Facilitation Project Steering Committee took place in Tbilisi.
Heads of customs administrations of Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova took part at the meeting, Revenue Service of Georgian Finance Ministry told Trend on Dec.13. They made a report on undertaken activities aimed at developing trade and transport corridor.
Representatives of Revenue Service of Georgian Finance Ministry presented the development concept project.
As was stressed at the meeting, the development of trade and transport corridor will have positive impact on the development of business in GUAM countries.
Representatives of large business and carriers also took part at the committee's meeting for the first time on the initiative of the Georgian side and with consent of other parties.
