Georgian wine exports from January through October 2021 amounted to $189.1 million, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The current figure increased by 15.9 percent, compared to $163.1 million of wine exports over first 10 months of 2021, the report said.
TOP-5 importers of Georgia's wine (Jan. through Oct. 2021):
Russia – $106 million (38.2 billion bottles);
Ukraine – $20.1 million (7.7 billion bottles);
China – $11.9 million (3.2 billion bottles);
Poland – $10 million (3.5 billion bottles);
Kazakhstan – $7.6 million (2.4 billion bottles).
Meanwhile, total Georgia’s exports from January through October 2021 amounted to $3.3 billion – an increase of 24.9 percent, compared to $2.7 billion in the same period of 2020.
