Georgia’s exports of wine to Kazakhstan from January through November 2021 amounted to $8.8 million, which is an increase of 37.5 percent, compared to $6.4 million, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The volume of Georgia’s wine exports to Kazakhstan over the reporting period of 2021 also increased by 40 percent – from 2 billion bottles over the same period of 2020 to 2.8 billion bottles.
Thus, Kazakhstan ranks 6 among the main importers of Georgian wine over the first 11 months of 2021.
Meanwhile, Russia ($157 million), the US (134.6 million), and Turkey ($46.2 million) rank as TOP-3 main wine importers from Georgia.
Georgian total wine exports from January through November 2021 amounted to $216.4 million, which is an increase of 16.2 percent, compared to $186.1 million worth of exports over the reporting period of 2020.
