The Brazilian government hopes for a peaceful evolution "without external interference" of demonstrations in Egypt, Tunisia and Yemen, the Brazilian foreign ministry said Friday, dpa reported.

The Brazilian government hopes for a peaceful evolution "without external interference" of demonstrations in Egypt, Tunisia and Yemen, the Brazilian foreign ministry said Friday, dpa reported.

"The Brazilian government expresses its hope that these friendly nations will find the path to a political evolution that is capable of fulfilling the expectations of the population in a peaceful atmosphere and without external interference," the statement said.

The three countries need, the statement added, "to give support to the ongoing economic and social development."

Brazil is to take part on February 13-16 in the Latin America- Arabic Summit which is to take place in Lima.
