Oman's Sultan visits Emirates months after spy cell dispute
Oman's Sultan Qaboos bin Said began a visit to the United Arab Emirates on Monday, less than six months after a brief dispute over a spy cell discovered in Oman, DPA reported.
Emirati President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan met with the sultan upon his arrival on a two-day "fraternal visit", on the invitation of Sheikh Khalifa, the official WAM news agency reported.
Last January, authorities in Oman announced they have uncovered a network of spies working for the United Arab Emirates, who have allegedly have spied on the government and military.
The Emirati government denied any knowledge of the network.
