Three foreign workers kidnapped in Syria, Italy says
Three foreign workers in Syria, including one from Italy, have been kidnapped, the Italian Foreign Ministry said on Monday, reported dpa.
The men were employed at a steelworks in the coastal town of Latakia, the ministry said in a statement.
Italian media said one of the hostages is Mario Belluomo, an engineer from Catania, Sicily. The other two victims were reported to be Russian.
