Five civilians were wounded in a battle between ISAF and the Taliban, according to an ISAF spokesman.

ISAF troops were ambushed during a 'reassurance patrol' near Gamsir, Helmand, on Friday.

After returning fire, they retreated.

Five Afghans then went to a nearby ISAF base with burns caused by the firefight. The international doctors treated them and then evacuated them to Camp Bastion, also in Helmand.

Civilian casualties become a big problem for international forces in Afghanistan as Taliban recently use civilians as shelter for themselves in fighting with foreign troops.

Using civilians as shelter to increase civilian casualties for provoking anger of people are a new tactic.

It has been told that those who lost their family member in a such incident, joined Taliban for revenge.
