Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that United Nations would likely investigate the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, official Associated Press of Pakistan reported on Saturday.
Qureshi said there was a possibility that United Nations would soon announce constituting a fact-finding mission to investigate Benazir Bhutto's assassination, reported Xinhua.
He further said that the UN and Pakistani government would jointly bear the expenditure of the investigations.
Benazir Bhutto, also chairperson of Pakistan People's Party, was assassinated in gun shot and suicide blast attack on Dec. 27 in 2007 when she was going out of a park after addressing an election rally in the garrison city of Rawalpindi. Enditem
