A man shot five people dead and wounded four before turning the gun on himself at a roller-skating rink in the United States, local news reports said Sunday, DPA reported.
"The suspected gunman did die of a self-inflicted shot," the police chief of Grand Prairie, Texas, was quoted as saying by the online edition of Fort Worth local daily Star-Telegram.
Speaking at a press conference late Saturday, hours after the incident, Steve Dye said the argument started as a marital dispute.
The ages and identities of the victims were not released, but another police spokesman was quoted as saying that no children had been hurt.
