Ukraine: Р° Euro-Atlantic Vocation conference is being held in Britain

(ForUm) - On September 7 a three-day international conference Ukraine: Р° Euro-Atlantic Vocation started in British conference centre Wilton Park.

As Ukraines Foreign Ministry press office reported, the first day of the conference was devoted to development of domestic and foreign policy of our state: influence of the parliamentary elections on internal political situation in Ukraine, perspective of economic and social reforms, role of civil society and Mass Media, reports Trend.

The next days of the conference will be dedicated to Ukraines relations with the European Union, NATO and CIS, and to the regional role of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian party is represented by Ukraines deputy Foreign Minister Volodymyr Khandogyi, chairman of the Donetsk regional council Anatoly Blyznyuk, peoples deputies Kozhara and Nemyr, PMs advisor Anatoly Orel, Ukraines Ambassador to Britain Ihor Kharchenko.

Other participants of the conference are director of the European department of the Foreign Office of Britain Mr. Smith, British Ambassador to Ukraine Timothy Barrow, chairman of European commission representatives in Ukraine Ian Boug, head of NATO Office in Ukraine James Green, head of UN mission in Ukraine ODonnell.

On the whole, more that 70 leading representatives of Ukrainian and international governmental, political, business and scientific circles and non-governmental organizations take part in the conference.
