As much as 110,631 flights were carried out from and to Turkey in January 2020, which is 5.7 percent more compared to January 2019, Trend reports referring to Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey.
During this period, there were 67,158 domestic flights and 43,473 international flights.
The number of domestic flights increased by 6.2 percent, while the number of international flights increased by 4.9 percent, according to the ministry.
During the reported period, a total of 34,219 flights were carried out at three main airports of Turkey - Sabiha Gokcen, Esenboga and Antalya airports.
