Export of cars to Kyrgyzstan spiked - Turkish Ministry of Trade

The export of cars from Turkey to Kyrgyzstan spiked by 48.82 percent in the past nine months of 2020 compared to the same period of 2019, having exceeded $8.8 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.

In September 2020, Turkey exported cars worth over $1.6 million to Kyrgyzstan, which is 83.85 percent more compared to September 2019, said the ministry.

In September 2020, Turkey exported cars worth $2.6 billion to global markets, which is 24 percent less compared to the same month of 2019, the ministry said.

Turkey’s car exports in September 2020 accounted for 17.5 percent of the country's total exports.

Over the past 12 months (from September 2019 through September 2020), Turkey exported cars worth over $25.1 billion abroad.
