Around 50-55% of participants in the 11th international exhibition on telecommunications and information technologies BakuTel to be held in the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Exhibitions Complex of Baku from 26 to 29 October are the Azerbaijani IT companies. Bahruz Hidayatzade, Iteca Caspian Manager on Exhibitions, told Trend that 50 Azerbaijani companies joined the show.
According to Hidayatzade, as compared to previous year the number of Azerbaijani companies participating in the event grew approximately 15%. “As compared to 2004 the venue of the exhibition also grew 25% and over 100 companies from 20 world countries will join it,” he underscored.
The major sections in the exhibition are telecommunications and network, IT and office technologies, cable and wireless communication, satellite communications and technologies, equipment and television and radio broadcasting technologies, banking technologies and services, security system, E-Azerbaijan, software and automation systems, E-business and E-government.
The event is organized with the official support from the Azerbaijan Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, the Chamber of the Commerce and Industry, as well as the Association of Azerbaijani Banks.
