Members of the terrorist group, the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) have not completely left Turkey, Turkish Interior Minister Muammer Guler was quoted today by Sabah newspaper as saying.

The minister said that anyone who will try to sabotage the process of the PKK withdrawal will suffer.

Previously, imprisoned PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan urged the members of the organization to lay down arms and leave Turkey.

Turkish authorities promised to create conditions for a safe withdrawal of all PKK militants who laid down arms.

Militants of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party began to leave Turkey on May 8.

The conflict between Turkey and the PKK, which is demanding the creation of an independent Kurdish state, has been continuing for over 25 years, and has claimed the lives of more than 40,000 people. The PKK is recognized as a terrorist organization by the UN and the European Union.
