Iran dealt with about 1774 megawatt electricity with neighbouring countries on Sunday, Iran Energy Ministry's internet portal reported on Monday.
Iran imported 225 Mw electricity from Armenia and exported 1134 Mw to Iraq, as Iran's two major power dealers on Aug.26.
According to the report, Iran's electricity export volume to Azerbaijan, Iraq, Pakistan and Turkey totalled at 1667 Mw and its power import from Armenia and Turkmenistan totalled at 307 Mw on Sunday.
By the end of the Fifth Five-Year Economic Development Plan (March 2016), Iran will boost its electricity generation capacity by 25GW to reach 73GW, the Energy Minister Majid Namjou said on February.
