An earthquake measuring 3.7 on Richter scale shook Faryab city in mid-south province of Kerman on Wednesday early evening, IRNA reported.
According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 20:25 hours local time (16:55 hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 28.53 degrees latitude and 57.19 degrees longitude. The tremor happened in depth of 8 kilometers underground and 53 kilometers from Faryab city.
There is no immediate report on possible casualties or damage.
