BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 15. The Russian delegation held a constructive meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during which they detailed their position on resolving the situation in Ukraine, Trend reports.
Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky, who leads the Russian delegation in the negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul, shared this information with journalists.
“Today, our delegation arrived in Istanbul under the President’s instructions to conduct direct bilateral negotiations with Ukraine without preconditions. During the meeting with the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, we outlined our position in detail and had a fruitful exchange of opinions,” Medinsky said.
