Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri has meet with a delegation of the World Bank led by the bank's energy sector manager Ranjit Lamech, Georgian Finance Ministry said on Oct.27.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the energy and infrastructure projects and the prospects for WB's participation in them.
They expressed readiness to hold comprehensive discussions on all the proposals for the economic growth, strengthening of energy independence and the development of Georgia's transit functions.
Earlier this month Khaduri met with WB Regional Director for the South Caucasus Henry Kerali and representatives of the bank's mission. The sides discussed issues related to the beginning of the country's new development policy for 2015-2017.
The WB will continue supporting the Georgian government for it to achieve certain inclusive growth in such priority areas of the country as health and education.
