An earthquake struck the Mingachevir Water Dam today.
According to the Azerbaijani National Center for Seismological Service, the earthquake with intensity of 3 points on the MSK-64 scale took place20 km north-west of the city.
Underground tremors measuring 3-magnitutude were felt in the Mingachevir city. The earthquake was the result of geophysical processes in the territory of the Mingachevir Water Dam. No damage or casualties were registered.
