Tbilisi International Airport paralyzed due to false alarm

The Tbilisi International Airport was paralyzed for an hour this morning. As the airport's administration told Trend, a bomb threat was reported at the airport after which all of the passengers and staff were evacuated.

Police and sappers arrived to the scene and cordoned off the area.

A suspicious package was found, which did not contain explosives.

The airport is now operating normally.
