The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov during one-day visit to Pakistan will attend the opening of the new building of Azerbaijani Embassy in Islamabad today, the Embassy's spokesman Vusal Suleymanov told Trend.
The new building was constructed on the territory acquired by Azerbaijan's Embassy.
During the visit, Mammadyarov will hold meetings with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi and head of the Pakistani Senate. Presumably, he will meet with the Pakistani President Ali Zardari, Suleymanov said.
He said no official documents will be signed.
