The Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov held a telephone conversation with his Afghan counterpart Hamid Karzai, Afghan Presidential Administration told Trend.
During the telephone conversation the two presidents discussed issues of mutual interest. Berdimuhammadov stated that the Afghan and Turkmen peoples are brotherly peoples and in this regard the Turkmen Government presents 1,000 tons of flour to Afghanistan on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
During the conversation the presidents stressed necessity to intensify the economic cooperation between the two countries.
