Azerbaijan has drawn an exact strategy of fighting Armenians misappropriation of its cultural values, Trend reports quoting Azeri Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev that spoke April 21 at the round table dedicated to International Day of Book and Authors rights.
Through the years neighbor country has misappropriated Azerbaijans history, music, national cuisine, historical monuments and so; the government may not leave this mater without attention, minister said claiming Azerbaijans intelligentsia, as well as world-famous actors and art workers shall help the government to relieve this matter. Different public and governmental structures should work in this direction, address various intentional agencies, demanding stop this aggression, Garayev said.
Azerbaijans cultural values misappropriation aims at presentation of so-called Great Armenias culture to the worlds public, reportedly said chairman of Agency of Authors Rights of Azerbaijan Kamran Imanov. The list of stolen values includes folklore images, ashug music, mugams, national cuisine and so. Thus, Armenians are trying to prove their invasion policy to the world, he stressed.
Agency of Authors Rights is address international organizations and heighten their attention at facts of authors rights violation, Imanov said.
