Azerbaijani FC ‘Inter’ defeats Armenian ‘Mika’ (UPDATE)

The quarterfinal of the Commonwealth Cup, which was held in St. Petersburg between Azerbaijani football club "Inter" and Armenian club "Mika", has ended. Azerbaijani club defeated its rivals with the score 4:0. Carlsons scored two goals for “Inter”, while Levin and Kruqlov – one goal each.

The quarterfinal of the Commonwealth Cup, which was held in St. Petersburg between Azerbaijani football club "Inter" and Armenian club "Mika", has ended. Azerbaijani club defeated its rivals with the score 4:0. Carlsons scored two goals for "Inter", while Levin and Kruqlov - one goal each.

Within the tournament "Inter" didn't let any goal to its gate, winning all matches. In the semifinal of the Commonwealth Cup, Azerbaijani club will meet with the winner of the match between Russian "Zenit" and Finnish "HJK".

Earlier Azerbaijani football clubs "Neftchi" and "Khazar Lankaran" were winners of the Commonwealth Cup.

Azerbaijani "Neftchi" and Armenian "Punik" met at the Commonwealth Cup in 2005 and 2006. First, Azerbaijani team won the match, the second time - five years ago - the "Punik" team left Moscow, where the championship was held. The "Neftchi" was awarded the technical victory and it won the Cup.
