Ukraine will hold events on the 20th anniversary of the restoration of Azerbaijan's independence.
Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine organizes various events in accordance with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's decree on the 20th anniversary of the restoration of Azerbaijan's state independence, the embassy told Trend.
On the Republic Day - May 28, Ukraine's First TV channel will show Azerbaijani film "Hokmdarın taleyi" ("The fate of ruler"). The embassy has translated this two-part film, which tells about early 19th century in Azerbaijan, into the Ukrainian language. The film will be shown for the first time in Ukraine with the permission of the Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry.
Earlier, on the eve of Novruz holiday, the Ukrainian TV viewers were able to watch the Azerbaijani film "Javad Khan".
In addition, the Azerbaijani ambassador to Ukraine Eynulla Madatli's interview will be broadcasted on the "Jurfiks" TV program on the Ukrainian Tonis TV channel on May 28. The program will show fragments of events held on the occasion of the Republic Day. TV viewers will be informed about Azerbaijan's rich culture, art and cuisine.
