U.S. Marines have assisted a nursing home in Tbilisi. Today, U.S. Ambassador John Bass will meet with elderly people living alone and examine three rooms and a corridor refurbished by the Marines.

U.S. Marines have assisted a nursing home in Tbilisi. Today, U.S. Ambassador John Bass will meet with elderly people living alone and examine three rooms and a corridor refurbished by the Marines.

The construction materials were bought to repair the building in a nursing home. Six elderly live in the renovated rooms.

U.S. Marines take part in joint exercises with the Georgian military.

The purpose of exercises is to train military personnel to participate in peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan and operations against the rebels.
