Several employees of the Penitentiary Service of Azerbaijan had been dismissed from the judiciary

This year, 112 employees were involved in the Penitentiary Service to different types of disciplinary action and 12 officers were dismissed from the judiciary, said Deputy Justice Minister, Chief of the Penitentiary Service Madat Guliyev at the board meeting on the results of the first half of this year.

This year, 112 employees were involved in the Penitentiary Service to different types of disciplinary action and 12 officers were dismissed from the judiciary, said Deputy Justice Minister, Chief of the Penitentiary Service Madat Guliyev at the board meeting on the results of the first half of this year.

The meeting was attended by PS authorities and undercontrolled structures, and their responsible officers.

According to Guliyev, the relevant orders of the Chief of the Penitentiary Service had been relieved of their duties - department of correctional institutions № 2, № 5, № 6, № 7, № 10, heads of educational institutions, prisons, detention center № 3, prison № 8, № 9, № 12 divisional type of special institutions № 2, № 4, № 6, and head of automotive industry. Some of them were dismissed from the judiciary.

PS authorities pay particular attention to increase transparency, and all complaints relating to corruption offenses, were promptly and thoroughly considered. Were continued activities related to the implementation of the "State Program on development of the Azerbaijani Justice in 2009-2013." Timely and clearly had fulfilled the requirements of the next order of pardon, signed by leaders of the country May 26, 2011.

According to Guliyev, during the first half of the year the Penitentiary Service is accountable to its structure largely fulfilled its tasks and achieved positive results. Also have been given appropriate instructions to eliminate shortcomings and violations and to improve future activities.
