Borussia Dortmund clinched a berth in the Champions League final Tuesday despite losing 2-0 at Real Madrid. Dortmund went into the final on a narrow 4-3 aggregate.
Dortmund should have settled the tie by scoring in the second half but failed to do so. Late home goals from Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos set up a frenetic finale, but the Germans just managed to hold out.
In the final, to be played at Wembley on May 25, Dortmund will either meet fellow Germans Bayern Munich or Barcelona.
Bayern won the first leg 4-0 in Germany. The second leg will be played in Barcelona Wednesday.
