Members of the Azerbaijani national rhythmic gymnastics team Zohra Aghamirova and Arzu Jalilova took part in the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Pesaro (Italy), Trend reports referring to the website of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF).
The Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Pesaro was held May 28-30 and was the last qualifying competition for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
At the competition, Zohra Aghamirova showed the best result in the exercise with a ribbon, taking 11th place. Arzu Jalilova, who has been performing in the adult age category since this year, showed the best result in the exercise with clubs (22nd place).
During the 2019 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, held in Baku, Zohra Aghamirova won a license for the Olympic Games.
