Azeri judo wrestler leaves team for long time

Movlud Miraliyev, a leader of the Azerbaijani national judo team, left the team for long time.

“The athlete is undergoing a course of treatment in Moscow and he is to be operated. Miraliyev can not recover after an injury to his back, received at Olympic Games in Athena. Though the judo wrestler participated in the world championship in Egypt, the injury inconvenience him,” Aghayar Akhundzade, the coach of the team, told Trend. Miraliyev is probable to miss the beginning of the season and it difficult to say when he will return to sport. According to Akhundzade, the national team needs the judo wrestler taking into consideration that he won the bronze medal at the world championship in Osaka in 2003. The same time the coach admitted that it would be very difficult for him to recuperate himself.
