Bakuvi Yuri Mammadov`s Cycling along BTC Completed

Bakuvi Yuri Mammadov has returned from a two-month cycling journey along the pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan BTC, Trend reports.

During an interview with Trend Correspondent, Mr. Mammadov told that on the whole, over these two months, he has cycled over 1.500 km. His way followed along the oil pipeline (from Baku City to the south coast of Turkey, and then to the north-west of this country Antalya Izmir, Trabzon, Ceyhan. Then the travel continued the Greek ancient towns Perham and Troy.

Notably, Mr. Mammadov has been engaged in cycle racing for about 30 years. His most remarking journeys are the cycle race to Paris, the Peloponnesus Peninsula (the motherland of Olympic Games) (1996), via the Pamir to Almaty (Kazakhstan), and across Russia (in 1980s).
