The State support for mass media, certain priviliges for for it, exempt from VAT, places advertisements of state organizations on the eqaul basis will comprise the Draft-State Program for the Development of Mass Media in Azerbaijan, prepared by the Press Council, which was put into discussion during the meeting of editor-in-chiefs of newspapers and experts in the relevant field, Trend reports.
Ingilab Ahmadov, one of the most leading economic experts, said during the discussion that the Draft-Proigram should be based on tendencies of the economic policy of the Azerbaijan Government.
Experts consider that the application of separate laxes in media should occur in a facile form.
In addition, the experts put their proposals on grants, reducing taxes on advertisement in media, etc. to the new draft.
