The governments of Uzbekistan and Qatar are preparing agreements on air traffic, mutual protection and promotion of investments, as well as on avoidance of double taxation, Trend reports with reference to the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry states that consultations were held in Doha on February 17-18.
"In particular, the parties agreed on draft agreements on air traffic and cooperation in plant quarantine," the report on the ministry's website said.
The Uzbek Foreign Ministry said the delegations will also agree on and prepare for signing draft agreements on mutual protection and promotion of investments and on avoidance of double taxation.
In the framework of the consultations, separate negotiations were also held with experts from a number of ministries and agencies of Qatar, where draft agreements on customs and culture were discussed.
