BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 18. Azerbaijan's consumer price index (CPI) increased by 12.9 percent from January through June 2022 against the same period of 2021, the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan told Trend.
Food, beverage and tobacco prices went up by 18.4 percent, while non-food products – by 6.7 percent. Meanwhile, paid services rendered to the population rose by 10.3 percent.
The country’s CPI in June 2022 edged up by 14.2 compared to the same month of 2021.
