Turkmenistan is considering the possibility of building a private chemical plant for the production of perchloric acid, calcium chloride and hydrochloride, Trend reports with reference to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The raw material for the new production will be chlorine. The new products will be widely used in the chemical and oil and gas sectors and will allow replacing imported analogs.
The possibility of attracting local and foreign investments for the construction of the facility is currently being considered.
As reported, it is planned to build new facilities in Turkmenistan to increase the volume and expand the range of products of the chemical industry.
In general, the chemical industry of Turkmenistan is rapidly developing on an innovative basis. The country is taking strategic measures to create a new mining industry, form industry clusters, and enter the leading positions in the world.
