In July, prices in the first market of housing Baku fell 0.3 percent and reached $944 dollars per square meters compared to $947 in June, the Property Market public organization said.
Price rise was observed only in the Yasamal District (2.7 percent), the Sabail District (2.8 percent) and the Narimanov District (one percent).
In July, construction of 488 buildings was continued on Baku initial dwelling market. The number of construction companies hit 173.
Despite drop in the construction work in Baku, two more apartment buildings are being built in the Nizami District of Baku, the organization said.
In July, a greater number of new buildings continued to be built in Yasamal (28.3 percent), Khatai (18.6 percent) and Nasimi districts of Baku (16.6 percent), which accounted for 63.8 percent of total portfolio of the first housing market.
The average size of apartments in new buildings in Baku dropped 0.3 percent up to 122 square meters. The average indicator hit 2.4 and the average floor rate was 15.
