Georgia's foreign trade turnover with CIS countries in January-June amounted to $1.419 million, or 47 percent over the first half of 2010. The export transactions amounted to $502 million and import - $917 million.
The Georgian Statistics Agency told Trend that the share of these countries in total foreign trade of Georgia is 34 percent, including exports - 48 percent, while imports - 30 percent.
About 20 percent of Georgia's trade deficit fall to the CIS countries.
