Governor of Kazakhstan’s Akmola region Malik Murzalin urged farmers of the region’s Zerendi and Sandyktau districts to join the work to control the supply of fuel and rational use of land, the official website of the region stated.
Murzalin gave the instructions during his working trip to the two districts. In Zerendi he visited the plant for the production of liquid mineral fertilizers Viktorovskoye LLP. Its Director Vladimir Andryukhin acquainted Murzalin with the technological process and products of the plant, which allows to significantly save money on the purchase of fertilizers.
The capacity of the plant is 120 tons of fertilizers per day – this allows to process 800 hectares of land.
Murzalin also inspected the farmers’ fields, where harvesting is well underway. The farmers noted that major part of the harvesting has already been completed. Presently, harvesting on the fields located in a forest-steppe zone is coming to an end.
In both districts the governor held meetings. Heads of farms actively participated in the discussion of important issues, including those related to fuels and lubricants and pasture lands.
Having heard information of the governors of Zerendi and Sandyktau districts, heads of district state revenue departments and departments of land relations, Mursalin gave specific instructions.
Agricultural production is one of the priority sectors of the economy of Akmola region. The region produces a significant part of the national volume of high-quality food wheat. There are opportunities and raw material base for the development of enterprises for the processing of agricultural products.
The industrial potential of the region is represented by enterprises of mining and processing industry, in which the bulk of production accounts for food products, engineering and non-ferrous metallurgy products. Molybdenum production, chemical and construction industry enterprises are also developing in Akmola region.
