Exports via customs of Iran's Kashan county exceed $226M

In the last Iranian year (March 21, 2018-March 20, 2019), Iran's exports via the customs of Kashan county in the country's Isfahan province exceeded $226 million, said Ali Murad Novruzi, an official with Kashan Customs Administration, Trend reports via IRNA.

The total weight of the goods exported via Kashan was over 146 million kilograms, Novruzi said.

Compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 21, 2017-March 20, 2018), the exports increased by 110 percent in terms of weight, however, the increase in terms of value was only 3 percent.

Arkopal, melamine, rubber containers, various threads, scales, artificial fibers, aluminum, tiles, rose water, cast iron pipes, copper wire, brake pad, air conditioners based on water, lemon juice, detergents, dairy products and polyvinyl chloride products are among the main goods exported from Kashan, he said.

Main exports of Kashan itself were factory carpets and steel products, he customs official added.

Export destinations were Sweden, Australia, Canada, Finland, Singapore, Lebanon, Malaysia, Tajikistan, Mozambique, Turkmenistan, Lithuania, Indonesia, Spain, the UK, Germany, Japan, Russia, Zambia, the Netherlands, Brazil, Bulgaria, Austria, China, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Afghanistan, South Africa, Qatar, Albania, Kuwait, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Georgia, Vietnam, Bahrain, India, Pakistan, Uganda, Kenya, Kazakhstan and Turkey, Novruzi added.

In the preceding Iranian year (March 21, 2017-March 20, 2018), the total value of goods exported via Kashan's customs was $219 million.
