Azerbaijani company “Sab” expands varieties of sausage products

The Azerbaijani company “Sab”, which is engaged in manufacturing meat and dairy products, has expanded the varieties of sausage products, Rovshan Abdullayev, marketing manager of the company, told Trend.

He said that the company has started production of dry sausage.

“Sausage products under the brand 'Sucug Sab' have already been supplied for sale in small volumes,” he noted. “New products are designed for domestic sales. The price of one kilogram of new product is 23 manats. The process of making this sort of sausage takes 21 days, and the production process itself is quite expensive. In particular, the production of one kilogram of sausage requires two kilograms of meat, due to the application of the drying method. As much as 500 kilograms of meat are used every day to produce this type of sausage.”

The manager noted that in general, the sales of sausage products of the company are quite big.

“It is fully sold at the points of sale in Baku and other cities of Azerbaijan,” he said. “In the future, we plan to expand the varieties of export supplies, including new products of the company.”

The company produces 60 types of meat products.

The company’s production plant is located in Khirdalan settlement near Baku.
