Facilities to be put into operation in Iran's free trade and special economic zones

As many as 58 facilities worth 437 million euro will be commissioned in Iran's free trade and special economic zones tomorrow (September 10), the Adviser to the Iranian president and Secretary of the Supreme Council of Iran's Free Trade, Industrial and Special Economic Zones, Morteza Bank told IRIB, Trend reports.

Bank emphasized that these facilities will be commissioned in Aras, Qeshm and Kish free trade Zzones, Payam, Shiraz, Sarakhs, Kaveh and Yazd special economic zones.

The adviser added that 4,400 people will be employed with the commissioning of these facilities.

Bank noted that a greenhouse worth 76 million euro will be put into operation in the Aras Free Trade - Industrial Zone.

"The vegetables that are grown in this greenhouse will be exported to Russia," he said.

In addition, 11 facilities will be commissioned in this zone and a total of 1,030 people will be employed, Bank said.

The secretary said that 14 facilities will be commissioned in Iran's Qeshm Free Trade Zone with an investment of 340 million euro.

"The facilities to be commissioned in the Qeshm Free Trade Zone will be for the storage of oil products and so on. A total of 601 people will be employed," he said.

According to Bank, 11 facilities will be commissioned in the Kish Free Trade Zone. These facilities include hotels and manufacturing enterprises.
